Ordering: Please allow 3 days to allow us to process the order. You will be notified regarding a longer delivery time if for some reason, the item is not in stock and give you an approximate ship date. If you need for a specific date or occasion, please note on order. You will need to confirm that a later delivery is O.K. before we process the order. We try to keep our website updated daily. Note our store hours when placing your order as we cannot process your order if we are not open!
Complimentary gift boxes with ribbon upon request. Things, such as board games, come in a box, so they don't get a box. Otherwise, most things can be put in a gift box at no charge. If you would like ribbon around it (i.e. "gift wrap"), just let us know.
Shipping: We use UPS and USPS. Please always give us the street address if you have a PO box just in case. We always use a tracking number for all boxes shipped and we insure them. If you prefer one method of shipping over the other, just tell us!
International Shipping: We can ship to international locations but we only use Priority Mail or UPS - we must have a tracking number and insurance for international orders.
Local Customers & Shipping: If you just want to order online but don't want to pay for shipping, write a note in the comments section that says you want to pick up the order. The freight will be deducted off the order and the tax adjusted accordingly.
Return Policy: Our brick and mortar policy is "store credit only within 10 days of purchase with receipt" but sale, holiday, paintings and layaway items are never returnable. Our online return policy is different in some ways: Call for a Return Authorization number within 5 days of receipt of purchase. Item must be returned in perfect condition with the original receipt enclosed and the R.A. number clearly marked on the outside of the box. Once the item is received by Kumquat Art, we will determine if the condition is still perfect and credit only the credit card that was used to make the purchase. Customer pays for return shipping. Holiday & Sale items are not returnable from an online purchase. Thanks for your understanding.
Damages: Customer must call upon receipt of damaged package for a damage claim. Any damages more than 5 days after receipt of package are considered invalid.
Sales Tax: San Francisco customers pay local sales tax, California customers pay statewide tax rate. Tax is 8.75% in San Francisco and 8.25% in California. Customers outside of California pay no sales tax.
Privacy Policy: Kumquat Art does not sell any information that we obtain from you. When you place an order with us, your information is secure and is not shared with others. Any emails you may get as a result of an order are about the order you placed with Kumquat Art. If you sign up on our e-list, all of that information is confidential as well and you will be receiving emails in regards to in-store as well as web-based promotions. You have the right to opt out at anytime. We respect privacy
